Your Family Entertainment AG and EM.Entertainment GmbH have decided to
terminate their cooperation in the field of distribution with effect from
September 30th, 2008. An agreement to this effect has been signed.
The two companies concluded a far-reaching agreement to cooperate in March
2004. EM.Entertainment will retain the non-exclusive distribution rights up
to the end of the agreement on September 30th, 2008.
This decision should be seen on the one hand against the background of the
sale of the entertainment division of EM.SportMedia AG, to which
EM.Entertainment also belongs, to the Belgian media company Studio 100 and
on the other hand in relation to Your Family Entertainment AG’s decision to
expand its own distribution organisation as part of the company’s
reorientation.
Your Family Entertainment will return to EM.Entertainment any prepayments
still outstanding on September 30th, 2008. This agreement restores the
distribution rights completely to Your Family Entertainment AG.
