RTV Family Entertainment AG to become Your Family Entertainment AG

Munich, November 29, 2006 New name, new brand, but the same high-quality
entertainment. As of now, the long-established 'RTV Family Entertainment
AG' is to become 'Your Family Entertainment AG' (YFE).
'We are embarking on a relaunch with a new name, new CI and new label. Our
twenty-six years of experience in the industry and our extensive rights
catalogue provide a sound basis for the company´s sustained positive
development in the long-term. Our focus will be on enhanced program
development and significantly intensified rights marketing, especially in
the home entertainment sector,' says Dr. Stefan Piëch, new director of Your
Family Entertainment AG since October 19, 2006.
In the course of altering its name, the media enterprise will also be
changing its logo, as well as its entire corporate identity. Furthermore,
YFE is to concentrate on systematic and future-orientated expansion of its
target group. In future, YFE will no longer be restricting its portfolio to
the 3-13 year-olds, but increasing its marketing and development activities
to include offerings and TV programs for teenagers and families.
In addition, YFE will also be marketing its own library directly to the
consumers in future. This will include presenting products such as DVDs and
talking books under its own 'Your Family Entertainment' label.
Apart from its own productions and license trading activities, the company
is also aiming to quickly boost the potential of its extensive library and
make better use of its competence in the area of format development by
promoting the expansion of its partner network. In addition to existing
co-operation agreements, which already include EM.Entertainment, Planeta
Junior S.l. and starmedia home entertainment, its network of distribution
and production partners is to be expanded even further.
The relaunch will be rounded off by the newly-developed on-line offering
www.yfe-ag.com. With its user-friendly navigation, this online portal
offers a large amount information and a high level of transparency. One new
feature is however a well-founded and comprehensive presentation of both
the program catalogue and the diversity of YFE´s program characters, using
countless multimedia elements.
YFE offers more than twenty-six years´ experience in the production and
license-trading sector. Its own rights library consists of more than 3,500
high-quality half-hour programs, including classic titles that rank among
the most successful children´s format productions in the German-speaking
area, such as 'Fix & Foxi', 'Urmel' and 'Enid Blyton' series, successful
productions like 'Little Bear', 'Donkey Kong Country', 'Gloria´s House' and
'Spirou & Fantasio', as well as the 'Dragon Hunters', a series currently
showing on Super RTL.
